PRACTICAL • PERSONAL • PRODUCTIVE
Jo delivered a number of communication skills workshops for a Highland based organisation and received a 97% favourable response. Responses included:
“Relaxed informative, we worked well in groups”
“Well delivered to us. The exercises were useful”
“I enjoyed the group work - making you think about all the areas of communication - good and bad”
“Interesting, interactive aspect, presented in a relaxed and interesting manner with enough parts ensuring that there was always something to think about”
Working on my own I was conscious that I had no one to ‘keep me in check’. Having known Jo for some time I decided to work with her as a coach. The coaching process can feel frustrating at times - it sometimes feels easier if someone would just tell you the answers but that’s the joy of coaching, working out answers yourself led by a great coach asking relevant, reflective and great questions. Jo did just this, often reminding me of progress I had made when I didn’t think I had, but also making me view situations in new ways. Working with Jo gave me the confidence to adjust my goals because I knew I could manage the steps in between. As a result of this work I now have a much more focussed approach and have divided all my activities into sections reflecting my goals, ensuring I am making progress on each every day or week of the year. I would heartily recommend Jo to anyone looking for a coach - whether professional or personal and hope to work with Jo again in the future.

Jo was involved in the activity to transform our resourcing services and enhance our candidate and client experience.
Jo’s primary role in the programme was to build and manage our programme office. She completed this very quickly and was able to maintain tight control of our progress and dependencies. Jo was particularly instrumental in managing our budget and ensuring that the benefits were being delivered. This was a complex task and Jo established great relationships with our Finance department and took a pro-active role.
Jo’s HR background meant that she added value to the programme in many different ways. She has good commercial and operational awareness which she applied and supported our thinking on designing our target model.
Overall Jo was a great asset to the programme. She is pragmatic, as well as creative. She establishes good working relationships quickly and builds a supportive environment. I would highly recommend her to others.
